Roz and me drove through to Tribe 2 in Glasgow , Roz had a busy day of lasering booked and I had two customers in need of some ink

first i finished a koi piece we started a couple of weeks ago. I used my camera phone for this, but the photos don't really do the colours any favours. She has lovely white skin that makes the colours pop







and then I was busy with a restoration project. The original artist hadn't really made a good job of this, and I was trying to fix it. If the shading had been just that bit lighter we'd have been able to just ignore it and go for something different over it, however it was fairly substantial and so I just tried to improve on it.

there will be more celtic work coming from the shoulder blade up and over the shoulder to bring it all together, so the celtic will come through the clouds and flow into the piece on the chest

After work Raffaella joined us on the journey back to Edinburgh where we met Brunella who had been working in Tribe 3. The occasion was Erik's birthday, and we celebrated
of course there was plenty of booze and silliness involved, as you would imagine with Erik in charge...and fairly randomly there ended up being quite a few tattooists there, too! It's the festival in Edinburgh, and various artists are guesting in town and were up for a party
we had our crew, the italians, plus artists from England, New Zealand, germany and france, fun fun!

That Koi makes me ever so jealous. It is fantastic, the colour is so vivid.
